“The 28 Days to Perfect Health Challenge” Day 5-Your “Self”
Writing about health, life and death are probably the hardest topics to deal with because they touch us all. If I write about roses, football, music, knitting etc. many of you would still be interested but my views and opinions would be less dramatic than if I talk about your “Self”.
You must understand how important your health is and realize that it is all you have. Pierrette & I have devoted most of our lives to helping others. We are proud to continue helping others, but when it comes to health, life and death everyone seems to shut down and shy away.
Thee Quest has made a commitment to help others by being straight forward and telling it like it is.
Obesity is a world problem. It must be taken seriously and it affects children as much as adults.
“The 28 days to perfect health challenge” is all about the realization of things we know but are afraid to admit. I have written many articles about health, obesity, childhood obesity and yet the topics seems to be ineffective. I have interviewed many people, young and old, and most are timid and reluctant to let others penetrate that shield we all have around ourselves. Do you understand why?
We at Thee Quest believe in the rights of people to say what they think. When it comes to health, we have a duty to ourselves to open up and say what we think. Never-mind the Doctors, the Lawyers, the politicians, the fathers, mothers, teachers and all others who have tried to influence you about your health, life or death. For once in your life, take responsibility to think about yourself and those you cherish.
How important is your health to you?
How important is your life to you?
Task of the day:
- Make it a habit starting tonight to sit down and write your thoughts about health, life and death. I know you are saying to yourself that this seems childish, but hear me out. Take the time for reflection about these three items to heart and write your thoughts down. They are your thoughts and no one Else’s.
- Read your thoughts every night for the next week and read them again first thing in the morning as you get out of bed.
